OPTALIGN smart receives gold award

OPTALIGN smart has received a gold award in the 2007 Plant Engineering Magazine Product of the Year Competition in the category “Maintenance Tools & Equipment”.

Launched at the MAINTAIN trade fair in October 2006, OPTALIGN smart is the latest laser alignment system for shaft and geometric applications. The system incorporates patented innovations, a most attractive design and an excellent user interface – facts that have already led to its winning the prestigious “reddot design award”.

Bluetooth wireless communication, a high resolution backlit TFT screen are but a few of the features that enhance alignment tasks even under harsh environments when using OPTALIGN smart. It is intuitive, thanks to a selectable language user interface, the alphanumerical keyboard, the navigation keys and a comprehensive on-screen help text.

Powerful features that include the patented continuous SWEEP measurement mode, interactive tolerances and the live monitoring of the machine corrections have been incorporated in OPTALIGN smart as standards, making it the most sought-after measurement system for the alignment of rotating machinery.
