Laser alignment of bearing shells and bores
PRÜFTECHNIK Service is well-equipped to confirm the
exact position of the alignment of crankshaft and camshaft
bores, cylinder bores, crosshead guides, pump bores, gearbox
bores and stern tubes.
Our measurement system addresses the following issues:
- Are the bores in-line?
- Are the bores aligned to a shaft rotation axis?
(e.g. boring machine)
- What is the offset and slope of the bore?
- What is the position of the bores relative to „gauge
points“?
- True bore centre measurement - not just the straightness
of bore sole.
